Ridge Creek Ranch

Residential

Summary

When a previous commercial customer came to us with a special request for a unique residential build, we were thrilled to take on the challenge.

The client purchased a rural piece of property that included a 70-year-old barn. Rather than shoring up the barn, the client’s vision was to transform the structure into a high-end retreat. The design included two master suites, four private rooms, a bunk room, four fireplaces, a whiskey room, multiple outdoor entertainment areas, and a large garage.

Originally built on a limestone foundation, the first step of the multi-tiered project was to replace the old deteriorated foundation. This required stabilizing the barn and lifting the structure over six feet to allow the placement of a new foundation.

The owner’s goal to preserve historic elements of the original barn was realized by Duggan through the repurposing of exterior materials, utilizing them for the uniquely themed interior finish.

Working in a close partnership with the interior designers, Duggan Contracting and Fixture Concepts fabricated and installed the wood railings, custom bunk beds, and whiskey bar, with much of the actual fabrication taking place onsite. The old barn turned new again will be a place for family and friends long into the future.
